    This weekend there is a great selection of live music going on in Southampton. Whether you want something more upbeat or a more chilled out evening, you won't be disappointed. In addition to our Pick of the Week being the Icon for Hire show at the Joiners (click here to see the article.) As Sirens Fall are playing at Heartbreakers with Minus Alive and Djuno, while Kitty O'NealCat Eliza T and Jigfoot are playing at the Talking Heads for the Hobgoblin Folk and Acoustic Music Showcase.   • With plays on Kerrang! TV, festival appearances at Download and a single featuring none other than Benji Webbe of Skindred fame, As Sirens Fall have been carving a name out for themselves as one of the top up and coming acts in the UK.

    In addition to their own headline shows, they have supported William Control (Wil Francis from Aiden) with Fort Hope, as well as played a co-headline tour with Ashestoangels.

  • From the ashes of Elements comes the newly formed Minus Alive, an alt-rock band from Southampton, with this gig at Heartbreakers being their first show. Current working on their debut EP, they are eager to get on stage and show you what they have been working on. If you cant wait, check out an acoustic version of one of their new tracks below: 

  • Djuno is a five-piece alt-rock band hailing from Southampton and has played numerous shows across the country. Winning a slot at the upcoming Common People this year, you can expect a lively, energetic set with singles like "Hive" and "Stop" being only the start of this band's bright future.
