  • Pick of the Week: Icon For Hire

EDIT: At time of writing this gig wasn't sold out, however unfortunately it has now.

For fans of Linkin Park, Imagine Dragons, The Killers, PVRIS

Welcome to Pick of the Week, a recurring blog segment that gives you our recommendations from the gig guide on whats on this week. This week it's Electronic Rock duo Icon for Hire with support from Riot Child.

After getting out of their contract with Tooth and Nail Records in 2015, (Of which they had released two studio albums) the band did a Kickstarter campaign to fund their latest album You Cant Kill Us. It was successful raising $127,200 a huge amount more than their target of $2,016, spawning a number of singles and music videos.

The "Turn Your Pain into Art" tour is promoting vocalist's Ariel's first book of the same name, being half autobiography/motivational, self-help literature.

With a back catalogue of hits including: "Make a Move", "Get Well", "Off with her Head", "Cynics and Critics", "Suppose to Be" and "Demons" their set should be great.

  • Riot Child

Riot Child a Electronic Rock/Pop Duo from Stockholm Sweden, and released their debut album "Made for Another Time" last year. The group consists of Alice (Drums/Vocals) and Amanda (Keys/Bass/Vocals)

Having a sound much bigger than the two of them, they guarantee an energetic live experience.
