    Welcome to Pick of the Week, a weekly feature where we choose a show from our gig guide and give is some more attention. This weeks choice is He is We's show at The Talking Heads on the 28th June, with support from Lizzy Farrall and River Knight. Click the link here or the poster for where you can get tickets.

  • He is We is an American Indie Pop project created by Rachel Taylor. Rachel has always said that the band name He Is We, which she created before she became a teenager, symbolizes “dropping our pride and fear and recognizing that the person(s) on stage and in the audience is us.” “We can all connect through music and use it to support and help one another.”

    Forming the band when she was 18, Rachel signed a music deal with Universal Motown, and then with Universal Republic. After releasing the album, My Forever, and then the EP, Skip to the Good Part, He Is We found commercial success with songs like Happily Ever After and All About Us. He is We is currently Independent.

  • Lizzy Farrall

  • Lizzy Farrall is an Alternative solo artist based in Chester, England. She grew up in North Wales with a large family and wasn’t in mainstream education until the age of 16 attending Coleg Cambria at the age of 16 to study a BTEC Music course.

    After graduating from College with Distinctions she then went on to sign to “Pure Noise Records”, a US-based record label from California. I was discovered online by a booking agent who worked closely with the label.

    She released her debut EP "All I Said Was Never Heard" on January 5th, 2018, and you can check out her song " Broken Toy" below:
  • River Knight

  • River Knight is an acoustic pop-rock duo local to Southampton. Formed during the summer of 2017, they have been performing acoustic gigs and releasing home demos in preparation to go into the studio to record some new music.
